Assessment
CICA Vancouver fills a niche in the local arts ecosystem with a strong focus on equity and global perspectives. It brings dynamic programming to Vancouver’s Chinatown and fosters dialogue through art. Constraints include its storefront gallery scale, with limited capacity and tight exhibition windows. Opportunities lie in expanding digital programming, deeper community partnerships, and scaling public engagement.
