What Users Should Know
Some specialized services may require referral from a physician. Wait times (especially in Emergency) can vary considerably depending on patient volume. Private rooms are limited; most rooms are shared or semi-private. Visiting hours and visitor policies are unit-based and may vary. The new tower expansion may lead to temporary disruptions in traffic, entry, or parking. For psychiatric emergencies, PEAT provides assessment and helps triage. For urgent but non-life-threatening issues, alternate clinics may be more appropriate than the ED.
