Trillium Health Partners
Trillium Health Partners (THP) is one of the largest hospital networks in Ontario, serving Mississauga and West Toronto. It includes three hospitals: Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga Hospital, and Queensway Health Centre. Together, these sites deliver acute, chronic, and community-based care to one of Canada’s fastest-growing and most diverse populations.
Clinical Services
THP provides comprehensive health programs. Emergency departments operate around the clock at Credit Valley and Mississauga Hospitals. Cancer care includes advanced diagnostics, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and supportive care. Cardiac services cover prevention, intervention, and rehabilitation. Maternal and child programs provide obstetrics, pediatrics, and neonatal intensive care. Mental health services offer inpatient, outpatient, and crisis care for adults and children. Seniors’ services and rehabilitation programs support aging populations and recovery.
Facilities and Special Programs
Mississauga Hospital is a regional hub for advanced care and complex surgery. Credit Valley Hospital is known for oncology, pediatrics, and women’s health. Queensway Health Centre provides outpatient and urgent care, with major redevelopment underway to expand services. THP also runs community outreach programs, chronic disease management clinics, and palliative care.
Education and Research
As an academic partner of the University of Toronto, THP trains medical students, nurses, and allied health professionals. Through research and innovation initiatives, the network advances knowledge in cancer, cardiology, mental health, and digital health solutions.
Patient Experience and Digital Tools
Patients have access to MyChart, a secure portal for medical records, test results, and appointments. Virtual visits and mobile health tools enhance accessibility. Interpretation services and culturally sensitive programs ensure equitable care for diverse communities.
Community Role
With a commitment to equity, quality, and patient safety, THP reflects the diversity of the communities it serves. It plays a leading role in shaping healthcare delivery in Ontario, addressing both immediate and long-term needs through innovation and collaboration.
