Vancouver Aquarium
Vancouver Aquarium Marine Science Centre, established in 1956 in Stanley Park, is Canada’s largest aquatic research, conservation and education facility. It houses nearly 800 species and welcomes over one million visitors annually.

- In spring 2021, ownership transferred from Ocean Wise Conservation Association to Herschend Enterprises (USA); Ocean Wise remains a non-profit partner.
- The aquarium holds AZA, CAZA, AMMPA and American Humane accreditations, and its buildings achieve LEED Gold standards.
